Supertunia® Bordeaux™ II Petunia
- Fast Grower,
- Blooms All Season,
- Great in Landscapes
Description
(Petunia) Beautifully detailed flowers give Supertunia® Bordeaux™ II plenty of personality in summer containers and gardens. Lavender-purple blooms feature dramatic burgundy-purple veining that extends from the dark center across each petal. The combination creates a rich, patterned look that stands out even when planted among other colorful annuals.
Growing 6-12 inches tall and spreading 18-24 inches wide, this Petunia develops a vigorous, mounded trailing habit. Its spreading stems quickly fill hanging baskets, window boxes, patio containers, and combination planters. It also works beautifully near the front of sunny garden beds, where it can spread into a colorful flowering mass.
Supertunia® Bordeaux™ II grows best in part sun to full sun and flowers continuously from planting until hard frost. The blooms attract hummingbirds and other pollinators throughout the growing season. No deadheading is needed, making this annual an easy choice for gardeners who want abundant flowers without constant maintenance.
Plant Petunia in well-drained soil and provide consistent moisture without keeping the roots soggy. Regular feeding helps container-grown plants support vigorous growth and continuous flowering. If stems become long or open during summer, a light trim encourages fresh branching and another flush of blooms.

Reviews
Supertunia bordeaux bounced back after suffering a turned over container and the dirt dislodged. The Supertunia Mini Vista Indigo has done excellent. They both are beautiful. Thank you Heidi 😊
Beautiful....just waiting for it to grow larger ...
Maybe I was too influenced by all the positive reviews of this variety, but I am not particularly impressed. It's pretty enough, but very slow growing, and highly attractive to earwigs to boot. It's the only petunia in the garden that I absolutely have to bait, or it would be gone. I won't be ordering this again.
Just started to really grow and the flowers are big and beautiful.
