Luminary® 'Prismatic Pink' Tall Garden Phlox
- Bright Pink Blooms,
- Mid Summer Bloomer,
- Increased Mildew Resistance
Description
(Tall Garden Phlox) Phlox Luminary® series has been selected for their improved resistance to powdery mildew and the color spectrum just got larger. Introducing Phlox Luminary® 'Prismatic Pink' to the collection adds bright bubblegum pink to the collection. The large clusters of bubblegum pink flowers feature a deep magenta eye that blooms mid-summer. Standing 32-34 inches tall and up to 28 inches wide. 'Prismatic Pink' is a perfect size for the middle of the garden. Hardy in zones 3-8, this versatile perennial is a must-have for your garden collection. Phlox can be planted in full sun to part sun locations, although we recommend full sun with plenty of room for airflow to keep the plant looking its best. Phlox can be planted in average to fertile soil conditions. And have average water needs. Once the first cycle of blooms are finished, we recommend trimming the plant back for an additional round of blooms later in the summer. In addition to attracting butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees, the bright blooms are something you will not want to miss having in your garden. Plant in mass, as a border, or in containers, and enjoy the fragrant blooms. This prolific bloomer will have plenty even if you want to cut a few stalks for your cut bouquets. Phlox Luminary® 'Prismatic Pink' is part of the Proven Winners® Perennial collection.
