Description

(Phlox) Beat the heat of summer with Southern Blaze™ Red Hot Phlox. Standing 10-16 inches tall and wide, it forms an upright mounding habit. The intense Bright Red flowers are hard to miss. It is a native annual that is heat and drought tolerant once established. Its mounding habit looks great in hanging baskets, planters, as well as in ground plantings. Southern Blaze™ Phlox prefer well-drained areas in full sun for best performance. Southern Blaze™ Red Hot is long blooming and requires no deadheading (not true of all phlox). Be on the lookout for hummingbirds and butterflies as they flirt around in your garden.
