Description

(Stonecrop) Enjoy a beautiful splash of yellow fall color in your garden with the Sedum Rock 'N Round® 'Bright Idea'. 'Bright Idea' features bright yellow clusters of blooms that are held up by bright red stems with crisp green foliage. Standing 10-12 inches tall and spreading to 20 inches wide, Rock 'N Round® 'Bright Ideas' forms a nice rounded mounding habit. The succulent-looking foliage looks amazing during the summer and bursts into a ball of yellow in the fall. Hardy in zones 3-9, sedum prefers to be planted in full sun locations with good drainage. Adaptable to poor soil conditions, often sedum is used in rock gardens or near the road or driveway where it can tend to be hot and dry. Attracting butterflies and bees late in the summer is a nice selection for the pollinators. Easy to grow, Rock 'N Round® 'Bright Idea' has attractive foliage during the summer in its 'off-season'. Plant in mass, as an edging, or in containers. Salt and drought tolerant, sedum really are adaptable just about anywhere where it is dry. Sedum Rock 'N Round® 'Bright Idea' is a member of the Proven Winners® Perennial Collection.
