Description

(Perennial Salvia) Long season of blooms is always a plus when planting perennials. Salvia nemorosa 'Pink Profusion' will do just that. Standing 14-18 inches tall and 16-20 inches wide, Salvia 'Pink Profusion' creates a nice mounding habit in the garden. In late spring/early summer, plum calyxes emerge sending up spikes that will soon open to dark pink flowers. The pink flower spikes fully cover the mound for a beautiful show of color. As the flower ages you can give the plant a trim, and reblooming will occur. Salvia 'Perfect Profusion' likes to be grown in a full sun location with average to low water needs. If attracting pollinators to your garden is your goal, this perennial salvia attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to your garden. The fragrant foliage and flowers are a great addition to the garden and will deter deer and rabbits from this plant. I started planting this variety of salvia in my gardens a year ago. It's a very robust variety and has already started to flower this spring. I highly recommend the profusion series.

Both of the Pink Profusion Salvia that I ordered have started blooming already! The bloom color is so beautiful! The plants are now covered in buds! Love this plant! ❤️

My favorite salvia to date. I moved and replaced four Back to the Fuchsias with Pink Profusions hoping to get a smaller plant more in proportion to the space, these were perfect. The four plants bloomed nonstop from spring well into fall. I kept waiting for a lull to prune them back, but it never came until the fall. My planting zone is a temperate 10b, which probably helped them bloom so long. I’m planning to completely replace my Back to the Fuchsias I moved this spring with more Pink Profusions.
