(Blue Sage) A fragrant thriller for your containers and landscape, ROCKIN’® Deep Purple Salvia. Standing 30-40 inches tall and 24-30 wide, the intense purple spikes of ROCKIN’® Deep Purple create a great focal point for mixed containers and as a thriller in the garden. This continuous blooming Salvia is sterile ,which means more flowers for you. Planted in full sun to part shade locations you may enjoy the flutter of butterflies and hummingbirds checking out the blooms. Drought tolerant and deer resistant are just two of the great attributes ROCKIN’® Deep Purple brings. We recommend regular watering and fertilizing every 1-2 weeks for continuous growth and blooms. If you find that it is taller than you want, then we recommend giving it a trim which will in turn create branching and even more blooms! You may notice that ROCKIN’® Deep Purple attracts bees, keep that in mind when planting, we encourage plants that will support our bee population. This tall, upright thriller is sure to put on a show in your garden.
