'Violet Profusion' Perennial Salvia
- Compact Habit,
- Great for Borders,
- Rebloomer
Description
(Perennial Salvia) Compact Salvia that puts on a summer show. Enjoy Salvia nemorosa 'Violet Profusion' in your garden or landscape. Standing 14-16 inches tall and up to 20 inches wide, 'Violet Profusion' starts blooming late spring and shows off all summer long. The plum calyxes emerge sending up spikes that will soon open to vivid violet flowers. The purple flower spikes fully cover the mound for a beautiful show of color. As the flowers age you can give the plant a trim, and reblooming will occur. Salvia 'Violet Profusion' likes to be grown in a full sun location with average to low water needs. If attracting pollinators to your garden is your goal, this perennial salvia attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to your garden. The fragrant foliage and flowers are a great addition to the garden and will deter deer and rabbits from this plant. 'Violet Profusion' is a reblooming perennial that is great for borders, mass plantings as well as container combinations. Salvia 'Violet Profusion' is a Proven Winners® Perennial.

Reviews
Love the color against my green house.
Color is gorgeous. Healthy reblooming plants. Doing well in a very dry environment. Can't wait to try Pink Perfusion next year!
Love that it reblooms. Anything purple is great for attracting the pollinators. Great pop of color!
