Supercal® Premium French Vanilla Petchoa

(Petunia x Calibrachoa) SuperCal® Premium French Vanilla Petchoa lives up to its name with its beautiful dusty yellow blooms with hints of orange at the base of the petals and dark centers. The large flowers and excellent vigor come from its petunia heritage, and the bold-colored flowers and nonsticky foliage are a result of the calibrachoas. It has excellent flower power, blooming early in the season and continuing to bloom all throughout the season. Petchoa is a hybrid cross between a petunia and a calibrachoa. It has the looks and growth habit of a petunia, but with improved self-cleaning abilities and it is more resilient to harsh weather. Unlike traditional petunias, petchoa can withstand heavy rain, the high heat of the summer, and even late spring frosts. SuperCal® Premium French Vanilla Petchoa grows in a mounded habit and has a strong vigor. It can reach a height of 16-24 inches and a width of 18-26 inches. Petchoa grow best in full sun, and they like enough water to keep the soil somewhat moist. However, be careful not to overwater. We recommend cutting back your petchoa once in the midsummer to encourage additional branching and additional flowers. We also recommend feeding your SuperCal® Premium French Vanilla Petchoa once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. Feed them, they'll be fabulous.
