(Coral Berry) PROUD BERRY® Symphoricarpos has vibrant, large, hot pink berries that form large clusters up and down the stems. It has good branching and a neat, compact habit standing 3-4 foot tall and wide. PROUD BERRY® blooms in midsummer followed by abounding fruit in autumn. Planted in full sun to part shade is where PROUD BERRY® Coral Berry is most at home. This is a great plant to include in the home garden as a specimen or in mass. It provides vivid color in mid-summer, and works nicely in informal woodland type gardens. Very tolerant of any garden soil! We recommend trimming back to 1 foot in the late winter or early spring for best fruit display. PROUD BERRY® Coral Berry is a PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® Flowering Shrub.

I bought a tiny little plant last fall and expected slow growth. My plant is already 2 feet tall in the first year and is covered in beautiful pink berries which have lasted well into winter! I love this plant!

Came in 8 inch pot. Ready to plant. Looks very healthy. Good root system too. I’m excited to see it grow in the next few years. It’s all planted in its nice new bed. 🙂

Purchased 2 of the QT pots this season not expecting much but they have filled out nicely and are loaded with pretty pink berries it has become one of my favorites in the garden it gives me something pretty to look at when everything else nearing their end of season I would highly recommend this plant

  4. Reedie

After 3 years, my Symphoricarpos is finally blooming nicely. It’s compact size adds interest in my pink garden.
Symphoricarpos is a very attractive shrub, now that it’s finally blooming nicely, after 3 years. Other than it’s slow growth, I love the way the clusters of pretty pink berries catch your eye, in my mostly pink garden. The shrub is a nice, compact size, about 3’x3′, and seems pleased with it’s sunny location. It contrasts pleasantly with other plants in a mixed garden. I’m anxious to see the fruit it bares this fall. Won’t the birds be happy? I would definitely recommend a Proud Berry Symphoricarpos Shrub!
