This semi compact Lilac stands 4-6 feet tall and wide. Scentara Pura® has the look of old-fashioned Lilacs but in a bit smaller form. What sets this lilac apart is that it has excellent mildew resistance and is hardy in zones 2-8. Scentara Pura® features excellent branching which offers more blooms. The thick dark green foliage is a wonderful backdrop to the large clusters of blooms. It features huge flower heads made up of double lavender florets. The fragrance is like none other. Hardy down to zone 2, Scentara Pura® likes to be grown in full sun locations with good drainage. Lilacs can tolerate clay conditions.
