Description

(Yew) If an evergreen, columnar habit is what you are looking for in a shrub, check out this skinny option. Standing up to 8 feet tall at maturity, STONEHENGE SKINNY™ Yew has a footprint of only 1 square foot, allowing you to add height to your landscape with very little garden space needed. STONEHENGE SKINNY™ Yew features dark green evergreen foliage year-round with bright green new spring growth. Planted in full sun to full shade locations, Yews are hardy in zones 5-7. With its super skinny habit, STONEHENGE SKINNY™ is a perfect selection for formal entryways as well as thrillers for container planters. This shrub is a male, so berries should not be present. Taxus is not deer resistant, we do not recommend this shrub if deer are present in your garden. STONEHENGE SKINNY™ is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.

Lots of impact for a small space

I planted a Stonehenge Skinny Yew in 2023 and it’s doing GREAT! I had struggled to find an evergreen that would survive in a small area that does not get a lot of sun but this one seems happy where it is and is very low maintenance. It really adds some needed vertical interest.
