Description

(Cuphea) A deep red addition to the Totally Tempted™ Series is Totally Tempted™ Richly Red™ Cuphea. Standing out amongst bright green foliage is an abundance of small red flowers. The edges of each flower are a lighter red that fades to deep red in the center. These flowers first bloom in the spring and will continue to rebloom all throughout the season. Cuphea is a great long-blooming annual for gardens and containers. Plant in a container combination, as a border plant in the garden, or as a mass planting in the landscape. Totally Tempted™ Richly Red™ Cuphea thrives in full sun and heat. Keep it well watered at first, but once it is established you won't need to water as frequently. No deadheading is required, but we recommend feeding with a water-soluble fertilizer weekly. This cuphea can reach a max height of 8-16 inches and can spread up to 12-18 inches. Be prepared to see bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds near this plant as it is one of their favorites!
