Beautiful large clusters of white flowers appear on Red Balloon® Viburnum in late spring lasting for weeks. Its flowers bloom on this year’s growth, and the plant itself can reach up to 6-8 feet tall and spread up to 6-8 feet wide. This viburnum is hardy in zones 4-9, making it a great shrub to grow in locations with colder winters. In the fall, large clusters of bright red berries appear lasting into winter. Like most viburnums, the plant will produce more red berries when planted near other viburnums. The birds will love the fruit, however, deer usually leave it alone making it deer-resistant.
