- Compact Evergreen
- Clusters of White Spring Flowers
- Blue Fall Fruit
(Viburnum) The high-quality, evergreen foliage of David viburnum mixed with the heat tolerance of Chinese Viburnum gives our southern gardeners a great new evergreen option, Viburnum Yin®. This semi-compact plant stands 24 – 48 inches tall and spreads up to 48 inches wide creating a nice mounded habit. In early spring white flowers appear nestled above the thick, leathery, deep veined foliage. In the fall, when you pair Viburnum Yin® with Viburnum Yang® deep blue berries appear. (We recommend planting within 50’ of each other for the best fruit set)Grown in full sun to shade, Viburnum Yin® is hardy in zones 7b- 9. We do recommend some sun for the best habit, flowering, and fruiting. These low-maintenance plants require little to no pruning. Doing so may affect the flowers/berries the previous season as they come from the old wood. Viburnum Yin® is a great selection for landscape hedges, border plants, or to add an evergreen focal point to your garden. They are easy to care for as well as deer and rabbit resist. Viburnum Yin® is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
