Growing Blueberry bushes will not only give you a delicious crop of nutrient rich berries, they will also provide year-round landscape interest. Beginning with spring flowers, blueberries then produce summer fruit, continue their show with brilliant fall foliage and end the display with colorful winter branching. Truly a shrub for all seasons! Blueberries must have well-draining, acidic soil and full sun with adequate moisture. They have shallow root systems and will do best with mulching. If you have challenging soil conditions, consider growing blueberries in containers.
