never fails year to year, this ones a beauty. At around 3 ft and loaded with 8 inch + beautiful smokey purple red plumes
long lasting and worth the money, I have
5 in a half moon section in the yard and larger ornamental behind, wow!

This is by far the best grass I have seen yet. It is blooming wonderfully here in Michigan in early September. Planted with Blackeyed Susan in front it is just stunning.

(Red Head Fountain Grass) Pennisetum 'Red Head', an impressive new grass, is the largest flowering of all the Fountain Grasses! It shows off plumes which resemble burgundy-red foxtails when opening and then explode into huge smoky-purple bottlebrushes. Each bottlebrush plume measures a whopping 3" wide and over 8" long! 'Red Head' offers attractive gold foliage in the fall. Destined to become a classic.
