Perovskia - Russian Sage

Russian Sage, or also known by its proper name of Perovskia, is a great addition as a filler plant in the back of the perennial garden border. It is long-blooming (July to October), drought tolerant, deer resistant and will bring the hummingbirds to your yard. What more could you ask for? The airy spikes of lavender-blue flowers appear on top of strong stems of aromatic, finely cut, silvery green leaves and are wonderful as cut or dried flowers. Plant Russian Sage in a full sun location with average, dry to medium, well-drained soil. Avoid wet, poorly drained sites.
