(Garden Peony) Memories are made around the garden peony, Peony ‘White Cap’ is no exception. Standing 32 inches tall and spreading 36-48 inches wide, Peony ‘White Cap’ creates an upright mounding habit and does not need to be divided. The large blooms display a heavily ruffled center that is shades of ivory and pink, surrounding the bright center eye are rows of magenta pink fragrant petals. Peonies prefer to be grown in full sun location but can handle part shade. A little afternoon shade can help extend the longevity of the blooms. Peony ‘White Cap’ blooms in the early summer and makes for a great cut flower. This deer and rabbit resistant perennial is hardy in zones 4-8 and is a perfect addition to borders, pathways or nestled in the garden.
