(Ninebark) COPPERTINA® Physocarpus is a spectacular new Ninebark that adds a dramatic color scene to the landscape. In the spring, the new growth is a lovely orange-copper color which matures to a rich red in the summer. The white button-like blooms appear in early summer and contrast wonderfully with the dark foliage. COPPERTINA® grows 8-10 feet high and wide, but can be pruned to desired size. COPPERTINA® Physocarpus has a unique winter feature of exfoliating bark that adds to the year around interest. This shrub is very adaptable to all soil conditions and is beautiful in mass plantings, shrub borders or as a specimen plants. A PROVEN WINNERS®® COLORCHOICE®® Flowering Shrub.

Versatile Review by Laurie | Zone: 5b
This shrub is great! It is not only beautiful but versatile. I have mine pruned and trained to resemble a small tree and it adds so much to the landscape. You can't go wrong with this little beauty! (Posted on 6/18/2012)
Marvelous Review by Terrie | Zone: 6a
This plant is marvelous! It's planted in full sun outside my office building, no maintenance. The only water it gets is when it rains and it is still beautiful. Plan to order 3 or 4 for my yard. (Posted on 8/11/2011)
Fast Growing Review by Karen | Zone: 5b
Love this shrub!!! Full sun shows best coloration. The leaves appear to constantly change colors. Responds extremely well to pruning. Make sure you give this guy plenty of room to spread out, fast growing and vigorous. (Posted on 3/6/2011)

It Impresses Me Review by Shannon | Zone: 5
I can't say enough good things about this shrub. It is very low maintenance and adds such beauty to your yard. The leaves change color with almost every season and it never fails to impress me. Everyone comments on it the first time they see it. The flowers are an added bonus. (Posted on 7/23/2009)
