Alcea - Hollyhock

Bring cottage garden charm to your home with Hollyhock or Alcea. This nostalgic plant is used for vertical interest at the back of the garden bed, growing up to 6 feet tall. Due to it’s height, Hollyhock may require staking in windy areas. Their large blooms open up along the stem and appear in early to mid summer. Hollyhock are best grown in full sun and in fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
