Peony - Intersectional

Intersectional Peonies, also known as Itoh, are a hybrid perennial created by crossing the Herbaceous Garden Peonies with the Woody Tree Peony. The resulting plant produces 50 or more dinner-plate sized, fragrant blooms on stems that do not require staking. The flowers come in a beautiful array of colors including yellows and gold not seen in Garden Peonies. Planted in full sun to part shade in rich, well-drained soil, the Intersectional Peony will provide years of enjoyment. The compact growth of (2′ – 3′ high and wide) makes it ideal for use in the front of the perennial border as it produces blooms that cover the entire plant. You will want to put this beauty on display front and center!
