Tiarella - Foamflower

Tiarella is a clump-forming perennial that produces spikes of airy, star-shaped flowers that form a foamy cloud over the foliage, hence the common name of ‘Foam Flower’. The deeply cut leaves with contrasting veining tend to be evergreen in mild winters and will flush a reddish bronze in fall giving Tiarella season long interest. Ideal in moist woodland settings, Tiarella are also great for shaded rock gardens, border fronts, and as ground cover for spring bulbs. Provide average, medium, well-drained soil in part to full shade.
