Pyracomeles

Pyracomeles is a seldom seen bi-generic cross between a Pyracantha (Firethorn) and a Osteomeles. Pyracomeles is an evergreen shrub with a more compact habit and thornless branches unlike its parent plant. It is a small-leaved attractive shrub that is adaptable in well drained soils in sun to part shade locations and hardy in zones 6-7 and above.
