Oleander - Nerium

Oleander is a striking, easy to grow, evergreen, flowering shrub that produces a prolific display of blooms from summer to fall with some varieties having a light fragrance. Oleander makes an excellent hedge plant, but it can also be used as a specimen plant in the full sun border. Hardy in zones 8-11, Oleander can be grown as a tropical plant in a container in Northern areas and brought indoors to over-winter. It is tolerant of heat, drought, air pollution and salt and is deer and rabbit resistant. *Please note: All parts of the Oleander are poisonous so plant accordingly if you have pets or children.
