Asclepias curassavica Yellow is annual milkweed in zones 9-10 and is grown as a long blooming annual in cooler climates. Typically you will find that annual milkweed has a longer blooming reason than its perennial sister. Planted in full sun to part shade, Asclepias curassavica Yellow can handle dry conditions but prefer and look better with regular watering.
