The silvery green foliage compliments the deep blue flowers well. The hotter the better for this drought, heat and humidity loving variety (once roots have been established) . Evolvulus BLUE MY MIND® is a great annual for containers or landscape use. This mounding/trailing habit plant gets 6-12 inches tall and can spread/trail up to 24 inches. Northern gardeners should use caution if cold temperatures or frost are in sight, this plant likes it hot.

These looked gorgeous in the store so I purchased 5 and planted them in the ground as a border in my flower garden. However, about 98% of the time the flowers are closed up! Do they only open up in the very early morning hours?? I am ready to take them back to the store!

Thank you for reaching out. These are a full sun, heat loving plant. Make sure they are getting enough sun. They also are drought tolerant and do best more on the dry side than on the wet side.
