(African Daisy) Enjoy the rich red daisy blooms of Osteospermum BRIGHT LIGHTS™ Red all summer long. The striking red flowers have a hint of orange on the new blooms providing a lovely depth of color. This heat and humidity tolerant African Daisy starts blooming early in the season and continues well into the fall. Typically Osteospermums slow down their production of flowers once the summer heat kicks in, that is not the case with the BRIGHT LIGHTS™ series. Standing 8-12 inches tall and spreading to 12 inches wide, BRIGHT LIGHTS™ Red is a great selection for borders and mass planting as well as a filler companion in containers. Planted in full sun to part shade locations, BRIGHT LIGHTS™ Red is easy to grow and requires no deadheading as new flowers quickly cover the old spent blooms. We recommend planting in an area that has excellent drainage as BRIGHT LIGHTS™ do not like their “feet” wet.
