Hemerocallis ‘Monterrey Jack’

  • Great Contrast of Color,
  • Heavily Ruffled,
  • Large Flowers

(Daylily) Bold colors and bright eyes, one of my favorite attributes when looking for daylilies. Daylily Monterrey Jack boasts large 5.5 inch blooms that are a golden eye in color. Each bloom features a deep red eye with bright yellow midribs that explode from the center. The wide, rounded petals have heavily ruffled edges. Blooming early in the season, Monterrey Jack is one of the first daylilies to bloom. Hardy in zones 3-9, Monterrey Jack is proven to have great garden performance, vibrant blooms, and is hardy in the coldest of climates. Daylilies like to be grown in full sun to part shade locations, and can tolerate poor soil and drought like conditions once established. Daylilies are an easy to grow variety and are rabbit resistant.
