(Goat’s Beard) Looking to add a splash of color to your spring shade garden? Look no further than Aruncus ‘Chantilly Lace’! Standing 30-32 inches tall and spreading up to 40 inches wide, make sure you plant this native in its forever home. The deep green, fern like foliage gets covered by a creamy white spray of blooms in late spring to early summer. Goat’s Beard can easily be mistaken as an Astilbe, but blooms earlier and can tolerate drier soil conditions. For northern gardeners, it can be grown in full sun to part shade locations with plenty of moisture. We recommend part to full shade locations for our southern gardeners. Use ‘Chantilly Lace’ as a border, in mass plantings or in a container garden. Don’t let the deer scare you off, this Goat’s Beard is a deer resistant selection. Aruncus ‘Chantilly Lace’ is a PROVEN WINNERS® Perennial.
