(Yarrow) I was so impressed with Achillea ‘Peter Cottontail’ in the trial gardens all summer long. This long blooming perennial was always in bloom with gorgeous white blooms. The beautiful mounding habit of this Yarrow stands 18-24 inches tall and spreads to 30 inches wide. The singular white flowers look similar to Baby’s Breath but are much larger. Grown in full sun to part shade locations, ‘Peter Cottontail’ is a drought tolerant perennial. Although a famous rabbit is referenced in the name, ‘Peter Cottontail’ Yarrow is a deer and rabbit resistant perennial. This long blooming perennial attracts pollinators and butterflies to the garden. This easy to grow perennial is a great cut flower. ‘Peter Cottontail’ makes a perfect addition for perennial gardens and mixed containers.
