Description

Details

(Spurge) Euphorbia 'Bonfire' is a hot new perennial with striking mahogany red foliage. Unlike other Euphorbias that may turn red in the fall, 'Bonfire' displays its smoldering red foliage all summer long! Radiant chartreuse flower bracts provide a nice contrast in the spring. A nice mounding habit with foliage that is resistant to deer and rabbits. Gloves should be worn while handling this plant because the sap could cause skin irritation. Euphorbia 'Bonfire' is very low maintenance and should be pruned only after the plant has bloomed in the spring. 'Bonfire' does well in a full sun to part shade location and performs well as a specimen plant, border or patio container.
