The broadly dissected leaves add a unique texture to this plant. Forming a mound, Artemisia ‘Silver Lining’ stands 12-16 inches tall and can spread to 36 inches wide. Like many other Artimisia, this one does not spread by underground runners. In the summer insignificant buff-yellow flowers may emerge, but note, this plant is grown for its foliage interest. Hardy in zones 4-9, ‘Silver Lining’ can be grown in poor soil conditions once it is established. This drought-tolerant perennial is easy to grow. Deer and Rabbit resistant, this is a great border plant, and ground cover, and can be planted as a specimen or in mass. Giving a light trim mid-summer keeps this plant looking tidy in our opinion.
