(Coneflower) Single coneflowers are one of the more recognized flowers in the garden. Now they have taken on a double form. DOUBLE CODED® ‘Raspberry Beret’ Echinacea features fully double bold pink flowers with horizontal ray petals making this 4-inch bloom look even larger. Compact in size, DOUBLE CODED® ‘Raspberry Beret’ stands 18-20 inches tall and up to 24 inches wide and is a very prolific bloomer creating an upright mounding habit. Blooming mid to late summer, Coneflowers prefer full sun to part shade locations with well-drained soil. Hardy in zones 4-8, these native perennials are a mainstay in the garden. Bring the fragrant cut flowers indoors for a beautiful bouquet. Great as a border plant, in mass, or as a mixture of all your favorite coneflowers for a welcome addition to the butterflies and hummingbirds that visit your garden. When the season is over, leave the dried seed heads for the winter birds. DOUBLE CODED® ‘Raspberry Beret’ Echinacea is a member of the Proven Winners® Perennial Collection.

1 review for DOUBLE CODED® ‘Raspberry Beret’ Echinacea
Terry –
It might be a little early for me to review, but I ordered three of these from Garden Crossings this spring and they are getting going very well. They each are planted separately in containers of different sizes- 8, 10 and 12 inch. The flowers are very beautiful and the color looks just like the pictures. The quality I received from Garden Crossings was very good, and this variety I haven’t seen anywhere locally in Atlanta. The color truly is a raspberry. They stand up on sturdy stems. I have only tried coneflower once before that did not make it through winter, but this is so beautiful and fits in with my other container flowers in their pots, that even if it’s only an annual, I am happy. God bless.
