Graptopetalum ‘California Sunset’
(Graptopetalum) Add to your succulent collection with ‘California Sunset’ Graptopetalum. Standing 6-8 inches tall and spreading up to 8 inches wide, ‘California Sunset’ is a perfect succulent for container growing as well as in rock gardens. ‘California Sunset’ has pale green foliage with peach tips. The more stressed the plant is, the richer the colors. Graptopetalum is a drought tolerant succulent that prefers to be grown in well drained locations in fun sun to part shade. Hardy in zones 10, in cooler climates we recommend planting in a container that can be brought in for the winter. Once indoors you will want to place your ‘California Sunset’ in a window that receives bright light. We recommend watering when the top one inch of the soil is dry. Killing them with kindness is where some people go wrong. Succulents are easy to grow, just be careful to not overwater.
