(WESTCOUNTRY™ Lupines) One of my personal favorite spring bloomers are Lupine, and the WESTCOUNTRY™ series has added a wide array of colors to Lupine color palette. WESTCOUNTRY™ Rachel de Thame Lupine features a mass of upright pink and white bi-colored blooms. Standing 24-36 inches tall and spreading up to 24 inches wide, sturdy spikes are held atop the unique bright green mound of foliage. These are not your traditional Lupine, as you will be amazed by the color spikes. Planted in full sun to part shade locations, WESTCOUNTRY™ ‘Rachel de Thame’ Lupine blooms late May to early June. Lupine prefers to be grown in well-drained and slightly acidic soil. Enjoy the flutter of butterflies and hummingbirds as they check out your ‘Rachel de Thame’ Lupines. We recommend deadheading your Lupine for extended bloom time. Lupines make a great cut flower and are deer resistant.
