This is one ‘Bad Hair Day’ that is actually a good thing! ART & SOL™ ‘Bad Hair Day’ Mangave is a versatile succulent that has many thin leaves that cascade gracefully from the center of the plant creating an attractive falling mound that will complement any patio container or even a hanging basket. The leaves are a nice shade of lime green with blush red speckling. Full sun exposure will bring out the best vibrant foliage color, otherwise the leaves will be more green without much red spotting. ART & SOL™ ‘Bad Hair Day’ grows 8-10 inches high by 18-20 inches wide and can be grown as a patio plant, houseplant (in a high light area), or landscape plant in zones 7b-11. Mangave is a cross between Manfreda and Agave. This marriage brings the best of both worlds, the better growth rate and attractive patterns of Manfreda and the habit and drought tolerance of Agave. This cross has also created a plant that can survive over watering that would be the end of most succulents. If you give ART & SOL™ ‘Bad Hair Day’ Mangave more water, it will encourage faster growth, but if it is watered sparingly, it will slow the growth rate down. This is one easy care succulent that will bring great texture, interest and tropical vibes to the landscape or home. ART & SOL™ ‘Bad Hair Day’ Mangave is a Proven Winners® Perennial.
