Fun, wavy and unique describes the leaves of ART & SOL™ ‘Catch a Wave’ Mangave. This attractive and highly textured Mangave will add a splash of interest to the succulent or rock garden. The highly textured thick leaves of ‘Catch a Wave’ are a cool blue-green color patterned with interesting dark spotting up and down the leaves. Full sun exposure will bring out the best vibrant foliage color. There are minimal ‘teeth’ on this Mangave which provides ease of handling. ART & SOL™ ‘Catch a Wave’ Mangave grows 8-10 inches high by 18-20 inches wide and can be grown as a patio plant, houseplant (in a high light area), or landscape plant in zones 9-11. Mangave is a cross between Manfreda and Agave. This marriage brings the best of both worlds, the better growth rate and attractive patterns of Manfreda and the habit and drought tolerance of Agave. This cross has also created a plant that can survive over watering that would be the end of most succulents. If you give ART & SOL™ ‘Catch a Wave’ Mangave more water, it will encourage faster growth, but if it is watered sparingly, it will slow the growth rate down. This is one easy care succulent that will bring great texture, interest and tropical vibes to the landscape or home. ART & SOL™ ‘Catch a Wave’ Mangave is a Proven Winners® Perennial.
