(Japanese Silver Grass, Maiden Grass) Miscanthus ‘Bandwidth’ is a unique ornamental grass featuring green blades with patches of cream that form a zebra-like pattern and appearance. Commonly called Japanese Silver Grass or Maiden Grass, this miscanthus reaches a maximum height and width of 30-36 inches, and is hardy in zones 5a to 9b. Grown in full sun, this ornamental grass adds motion to the garden as it blows in the breeze. It also adds contrast with its fine, long foliage strands. ‘Bandwidth’ is a resilient plant, it can grow in more dry conditions, as it is drought tolerant.
