(Geranium) AMERICANA® Salmon Geranium plants add an elegant salmon-coral color to the landscape. The AMERICANA® Series is known for clean and intense flower colors and for the large flower heads they display. AMERICANA® Salmon is no exception. It produces large 5″ blooms with semi-double florets that hold up well to wind, rain and heat. AMERICANA® geraniums are also excellent landscape performers in both containers and as a landscape border, they are well branched and have an excellent plant structure. This geranium reaches a height of 6-12 inches and spreads to about 1-2 feet wide. It makes a wonderful addition to your full sun garden or out on a patio in the full sun. It grows best in moderate to moist soil. Geraniums are typically deer-resistant so you shouldn’t have to worry about those critters eating your beautiful plant or its flowers. Plant either in combination planters, hanging baskets, or in the landscape as a mass or a specimen. It will start blooming soon after planting in the late spring, and it will continue to bloom all throughout the summer and into fall. Be sure to feed, water, and care for your geranium throughout the season. Remove the spent blooms of AMERICANA® Salmon Geranium to encourage new growth and flower buds.
