(Petunia) Another charming plant from PROVEN WINNERS®! SUPERTUNIA® ‘Mini Vista Morning Glory’ Petunia is a beautiful lavender color with a large white eye. The ‘Mini Vista’ series of petunias produce a dense mound of color that will spill over in hanging baskets and containers. One plant can trail up to 36 inches! In our basket trials, we found that ‘Mini Vista Morning Glory’ was a vigorous grower that forms a nice mound of season-long color that nicely spilled over the basket. If you are looking for a plant to create a blanket of color in your landscape, ‘Mini Vista Morning Glory’ will do just that. Fertilize often for best results. The SUPERTUNIA® family of petunias are self cleaning. What that means is that you do not need to pick at them to keep them looking beautiful all summer. We do recommend fertilizing your SUPERTUNIA® every 1-2 weeks with a water-soluble fertilizer. This helps keep your plants well nourished providing you with loads of color. You may find that mid season your baskets and planters need a manicure. We recommend trimming your ‘Mini Vista Morning Glory’ back to approximately the bottom of your hanging basket or container. This will encourage more branching and freshen up your planter.
