(Petunia) If red is what you are looking for in a petunia, then SUPERTUNIA® Really Red is your plant. An upgrade from the old red petunia, SUPERTUNIA® Really Red features a bright red bloom that does not fade. Standing 12-18 inches tall and spreading up to 24 inches wide/long the mounding trailing habit of SUPERTUNIA® Really Red make this a great selection for baskets, containers and ground plantings. The benefit of SUPERTUNIA® is that they do not require deadheading to bloom all summer long. Easy to grow and low maintenance. We do recommend fertilizing your SUPERTUNIA® Really Red every 1-2 weeks in the heat of the summer with a water soluble fertilizer. You may find that by July your plant may need a ‘haircut’, go ahead and trim up to 20% off your plant or up to the bottom of the pot. This will encourage branching which leads to additional fullness and flowers.
