(Black Eyed Susan) The new Goldstrum standard. ‘Little Goldstar’ Black Eyed Susan is a new introduction for Jelitto and is sure to become the next best thing in the Rudbeckia world. Standing only 16″ tall, ‘Little Goldstar’ is a compact, bushy, more proportional Rudbeckia. The dark green foliage is covered in a blanket of golden yellow flowers. This is a very well branched variety that has been known to have over 80 blooms on just one plant during its midsummer to fall bloom cycle. Grown in full sun, ‘Little Goldstar’ will be an asset to your garden whether it be a specimen plant, or planted in mass. So you don’t have a lot of growing space? No problem! ‘Little Goldstar’ makes a great container plant also.
