(Begonia Rex) A unique addition to the Space Age™ series, Space Age™ Black Hole™ Begonia is appropriately named given the color patterns of its foliage. Each leaf features a dark pink center surrounded by light green on the outer leaf with dark green veins and a dark burgundy border on the edges. This dense foliage forms a nice mounding habit and makes a great plant for shade gardens, or as a filler for containers. In the late summer, small red flowers will appear adding a nice compliment to the dark foliage. We recommend feeding your annuals once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. Plant in average, well-drained soil and water regularly. This easy to care for annual can grow to a height and spread of 15-18 inches. Rex begonias are deer and rabbit resistant annuals.
