(Peruvian Lily) If you have watched any of my YouTube videos, you know I have a huge love for Alstroemeria. We are excited to show you Alstroemeria ‘Golden Tiara’, a sport of my favorite, ‘Inca Ice’. ‘Golden Tiara’ features deep yellow flowers with a coral red throat. One of the longest blooming perennials in my garden, Alstroemeria starts blooming in May and goes until our first hard freeze. ‘Golden Tiara’ stands 3 ½ feet tall and wide. Hardy in zones 6-9, Peruvian Lilies like to be planted in full sun to part shade locations with evenly moist, well-drained, fertile soil. This long-blooming perennial is perfect for cut gardens, there is no stop to the blooms. Each year the clump continues to get fuller in size. Alstroemeria ‘Golden Tiara’ makes a perfect specimen in the garden. Enjoy the butterflies and hummingbirds when they visit your garden.
