Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’

  • Great Vertical Interest,
  • Long Blooming,
  • Attracts Hummingbirds

(Crocosmia) Add a flowery spray of color to your garden with Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’. Standing 36 inches tall, clusters of bright red flowers dance along the tops of the stem. The beauty of ‘Lucifer’ begins midsummer and in some areas blooms will last until fall. Planted in full sun, in a well-drained location, ‘Lucifer’ is a great addition to landscapes and perennial gardens. Great as a cut flower, ‘Lucifer’ can be planted in mass or as a simple focal point drawing some spiky height to the garden design. Hardy in zone 5-9, we recommend mulching for the winter in zones 5-7. Is your climate cooler than a zone 5, no worries, you too can enjoy the beauty of ‘Lucifer’. We recommend digging up the bulbs much like you would a dahlia and storing indoors for the winter.
