Description

Details

(Hosta) Hosta Liberty is a gorgeous sport of Hosta Sagae with very wide creamy yellow margins that fade to creamy white later in the season. Liberty releases its lavender flowers in early summer. It is a large hosta that typically grows in an upright vase-shape to 20-24” tall. Foliage mound will typically spread over time to 30-36” wide. Hostas are primarily grown in the shade for their beautiful ornamental foliage. A Garden Crossings favorite and a real attention getter!

Top rated plant, no problems with slugs or other critters. Love it. (Posted on 10/21/2012)
True Beauty Review by Jeff B | Zone: 6a

A true beauty. I have several planted in various places in the yard. They don't seem to mind several hours of sun in the northeast summers. The yellow borders turn a nice creamy white, tall and upright, just a real head turner! (Posted on 5/17/2011)
