Heliopsis - False Sunflower

The native wildflower Heliopsis will add bright, cheery color to your summer garden. Also known as ‘False Sunflower’, this perennial has blooms that are sunflower-like and come in shades of golden yellow. Although preferring well-drained, adequately moist soil, Heliopsis can tolerate periods of drought. The highest number of blooms will occur in full sun locations, but Heliopsis can also handle part shade. Regular deadheading will encourage and prolong bloom time.
Excellent as a cut flower, ‘False Sunflower’ will also attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Garden Crossings carries several varieties with heights ranging from 15″ to 4′ to suit any garden size.
