(Clematis) A true beauty, Clematis Texensis Princess Kate has a one-of-a-kind look. The stunning upward-facing tulip-shaped flowers feature white on the inside of the bloom and shades of light purple/red on the outer sides of the blooms giving it a two-tone look. This mid-summer bloomer is very prolific and catches the eye. Standing up to 12 feet tall, Clematis Texensis Princess Kate is a perfect addition to a tall arbor or trellis. Create a stunning look in your garden by making a tall fence wall for clematis to climb. Mix and match several varieties to always have something in bloom. Hardy in zones 5-9, clematis like to be grown in full sun to part shade locations. We recommend shading their roots with mulch or companion plants. Please note clematis flower color may vary depending on its environment.

  1. Ellen S.

I was so excited to get my Princess Kate Clematis after searching everywhere and then waiting til a new delivery came in. I already have my Princess Diana clematis growing well for several years and wanted her daughter-in-law’s clematis namesake alongside her. Can’t wait to see her bloom. This clematis is very vigorous, healthy and growing quite rapidly. FYI, Heidi packaged her beautifully for delivery, the best I have seen. I was impressed. Thank you. I also love all of your UTube gardening tips, Heidi. They are so informative.
