(Texas Primrose) Add a splash of sunshine to your garden with Calylophus LADYBIRD™ Sunglow. This extremely heat tolerant plant features bright yellow blooms and fine needle-like foliage. It stands 4-8 inches tall and can spread to 20 inches wide creating a mounding/trailing habit. Planted in full sun, this Southwest native is heat and drought-tolerant making it a great selection for the South as well as the North. We recommend planting in areas with good drainage and watering regularly as needed. Although LADYBIRD™ Sunglow is an annual in most of the country, those living in zones 8-10 may find that it overwinters. Plant in mass, as an edging, or in a rock garden. LADYBIRD™ Sunglow does not require a lot of fertilizer. If need be, you can trim your plant back by a third to encourage more growth and branching. LADYBIRD™ Sunglow attracts butterflies, bees, and birds to the garden and for those of you with deer, this is a deer-resistant annual!
