Peppers are usually picked at an early stage when they are green; although the flavor is enhanced as it matures and turns red. When picking peppers be careful to not pull on the pepper as it may damage your plant. It is best to trim it with a garden snipper. For best flavor, we recommend eating your peppers the same day they are picked. Peppers can set out on your counter for a few days and still taste great.
